After a successful potty trip outside I let Angel hang out by my desk in the kitchen with me or one of the kids. She was so funny today, she curled up right at my feet and fell asleep. I picked her up gently and moved her to her bed in her crate and she hardly even woke. I have to admit being just a tad bit nervous before getting a retriever that they might be too much energy for a mom of 3. But I find she's been perfectly playful, but not the least bit hyper. A great speed for us! She is able to play for awhile with the kids and then just lay down and hang out with her chew toys or by your side while your doing something (making dinner, paperwork or going online, etc.) So very happy to report so far I think we've found a great breed for our family of 3 kids and she is equally good with all of them (even our almost 3 year old who is gentle and good with dogs). It's fun to watch him sit by his Thomas train table and play and see Angel sitting there too watching him!
